We exist to offer tailored accountancy and tax support to businesses and individuals which is both affordable, relevant and carried out to our high exacting standards.
We might be accountants, but we very much see ourselves as a people business. We get satisfaction from helping our clients achieve their goals - your success is our success.
Meet the Team
Gary Hamilton, ACA, FCCA
Founder and Director
“People are my passion. I like to meet my clients, find out what makes them tick and use that background to create a bespoke financial plan, or tailored advice, which really works for them. Putting people at the heart of the work I do guarantees that what I’m delivering for my clients matches their current needs and aligns with their future plans. It is also much more inspirational than being stuck at the computer all day!
My way of working is clear and concise, and I think that’s key to helping my clients get a real grasp of their finances and an understanding of how to optimise the opportunities available to them. I’m told by both my clients and professional network that they value my calm, level-headed pragmatism, something I’m proud of at work, but is probably less true at the weekend when I’m watching rugby or playing golf!
Before launching Hamilton Accounts, I studied at the University of Exeter and, after graduating, travelled solo across the Middle East and Asia. My introduction to the world of accountancy began at a top accountancy firm in the South of England where I completed my training. I then moved to a smaller practice to continue developing my craft and expertise, and from there I took the decision to launch my own firm.”
Gary is both a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
